Hi Rita, thanks for reaching out! HBOT is a tough thing to research, and we hope to see more and more studies on HBOT and concussions in the coming years. Some research suggests that hyperbaric oxygen therapy may be beneficial even years after a concussion happens. A 2019 article in the Psychiatric Times explains that emerging research in humans has shown that patients can benefit from concussion treatment with HBOT months or years after the actual concussion. A few scientific studies have shown the same results. This HBOT study involved patients who had suffered concussions between 6 months and 27 years ago, and the HBOT patients showed significant improvement in their memory, processing speeds, and executive function. There are some other studies too that we’d be happy to share with you if you have further interest. Just email us at info@apnlodge.com and we can send you some more links! As far as insurance, we always recommend running insurance benefits to check what is covered. Our contact center can help you with that and talk with you about what it would cost. You can reach us at 9704468760.

My son had 3 in high school he’s now 31 and suffering from almost every system you discribe. Does insurance cover? What’s the cost?
